Huh. Everyone’s doing these now. I feel like in all of these cases, the word “popular” doesn’t seem to really fit. I’d say that you’re respected and have made really cool contributions to the forum. ---

Seconding with @Blobbey, It’s confusing to see that everybody is asking if their popular or not. It really doesn’t matter what people think of you on this forum. Sure. You want to see if people acknowledge your existence on site but the popularity part isn’t needed. Everybody is equally respected here and we all don’t really care about who’s more popular than someone (Even though there have been some LEADERBOARD threads that, I’ll admit am guilty of doing.) Everybody is popular and a great coder in the eyes of everybody on this site! TLDR: You don’t need to ask if you’re popular. we are all equal. ---

Well said. I think we need to stop this “am I popular” trend at this point. Short answer: yes, you’re popular. And that goes for most people that make these threads. The thing is, that question is completely redundant in and of itself - you shouldn’t care how “popular” or well known you are in the community. I think we should all just make cool stuff, hang around on the forum and make this a welcoming community for everyone. How recognizable someone is is not important ---
