Hello MakeCode Community! We will be enforcing these rules more strictly going forward. **Stay on Topic** This forum is a space to share everything MakeCode. We love the community that has emerged in this space, but we are not a social media platform. Please post in the appropriate target category: Arcade, micro:bit, or Minecraft. Remember, one post per project! - Also, keep a lookout for our Topics of the Week. Those are a great place to get to know your fellow forum members without hosting specific Q&As or revealing too much information about yourself. In an effort to reduce noise on the forum, we are renaming the Blog category to represent it’s original purpose of allowing our team to share information about the “MakeCode Blog” (which can be found here: [Microsoft MakeCode Blog](https://makecode.com/blog)). Only admins will be allowed to post new threads in this space, though you can still reply to existing ones. We want to see the things that you’ve made and we love seeing collaboration. But if you’re trying to talk about your profile picture or favorite flavor of pop-tart or post a Q&A about yourself, those posts will not make it through moderation. **Clear and Concise** As noted in the Code of Conduct, make sure that you’re posting in the right category before sending off a post. It can be frustrating for others to find a post about Minecraft if they are looking through micro:bit posts. If we see a post that doesn’t seem like it’s in the right category, we will ask you to change the category before letting the post through. Also, it’s possible that the question that you’re wanting to ask has already been posted on the forum. Please take a second to search the forum for answers before posting something new. As a last note, remember to be nice! Before posting a reply or thread, make sure that your post is something that will enhance the conversation and community, not bring down the energy. Pretty cool, I kinda already knew that blog was about the MakeCode blog but I kinda went along with it anyway because it was nice to talk about random topics. I think that it’s really nice that you are trying to fix and organize the forum regularly, really appreciate it! But I do think it would be cool to have a category where we can post random things (and the topics of the week will be a great new addition,) I’d just enjoy that personally as long as people don’t reveal too much personal information. Overall though, great job MakeCode Team! ---

Yeah @Sarge we are totally copying your idea! We all talked about it and agreed that everyone loved those posts and were disappointed when they stopped happening. We’re going to start them officially on an experimental basis and see how it goes ---
