Yes but how do people give honorable mentions to users. Do they just simply mention the creator’s name.
@RoboVacDev winners and honorable mentions are chosen by our crack team of judges (i.e. the makecode team), not by forum members
woah, I saw your post instantly get approved, that must be nice
I’ve been procrastinating…
I have 22 days to make a game worth an honorable mention.
by no excessive violence does that mean attacking via stabbing(no effects) is allowed? and would stuff like guns/firearms have to be censored or just no violent effects
I’m so screwed…
Stop working on other games Astral, you need to finish this game by November 15.
Guess that means no guns and blood. But just simple guns I guess.
Haha yeah…
k so actually pretty good news since blood wasnt planned and tbh laser guns are way cooler anyway
Oh darn it. I thought that meant no gore. My game relies heavily on a gun. ![]()
@richard could we have a verdict on this?
I believe in the past users have suggested adding a simple blood/gore warning at the start of their games, which seems to me like a very simple solution.
Personally I think no excessive violence means no blood. After all, fighting is practically an inevitability when it comes to games. I’m fairly sure they’d be okay with guns but @richard should be the one to decide.
i have not even started because of school work
So, with 2 weeks left I’m wondering how everyone’s doing.

I need to make skill cooldowns, two more levels, title screen and custcenes/polish. Shouldnt be too bad right…?
(Also how far are you from finishing?)
i might give up tho
Well…
I have like 30% of what could be considered an actual game. (A small game)
But I can (If I actually try) code my game really quickly.
almost done with just the tutorial but the main mechanics are so far so good
dont give up we all believe in you
I think I might not finish… I ain’t a level designer twin ![]()
