Hey folks! It’s the first, _ahem_, Wednesday of the month which means it’s time for a new mini game jam! This month’s theme comes to us from @osullivp, **Tiny Worlds** jam! So what exactly is a tiny world? Well that’s up to you to decide! Some good interpretations of this theme are: - A game where everything is normal sized but you’re just a lil’ guy, like in [Pikmin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pikmin), [Grounded](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grounded_(video_game)), [Chibi Robo!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chibi-Robo!_(video_game)) or roughly 50% of the levels in [Katamari Damacy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katamari_Damacy) - A management game that focuses on maintaining a small community like in [Viva Piñata](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva_Pi%C3%B1ata), [SimAnt](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SimAnt), or [Animal Crossing: New Leaf](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Crossing:_New_Leaf) - A game that takes place in a small town isolated from the rest of the world where some sort of sinister mystery is unfolding like in [Life is Strange](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_Is_Strange_(video_game)), [Persona 4](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_4), [Famicom Detective Club](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famicom_Detective_Club), or [Professor Layton and the Curious Village](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professor_Layton_and_the_Curious_Village) …boy I really enjoy coming up with lists of games for these! ## Rules 1. Games should be built in MakeCode Arcade 2. Games should clearly adhere to the theme without the need for any extra explanation 3. Keep the games PG: no NSFW, offensive, or excessively violent content. 4. You must be at least 9 years old to participate. 5. All games must be submitted by someone who is at least 13 years old. Younger students are welcome to participate, but it must be in partnership with an adult and with parent permission. You have three weeks to enter! The jam will close at **11:59 PM PDT on Monday, September 23rd 2024**. We will be playing all the submissions on our livestream on the Friday after the jam closes, so look forward to that! Submit your games by posting them in this thread! ---

soo I wasn’t able to make a actual game and probably won’t be able to, but I’ve made a tiny world so I’m happy 🙂 . eventually, this is just a base for any sort of survival game or colony game anyone wants to make using it, so yeah. Hi all, My entry to the Jam (assuming I am allowed to enter as the theme proposer!) is called ‘Raindrop Dash’. In the game you play a girl called Lila who after reading a fairy tale, find herself transported to a little big world where she is tiny and the raindrops are massive.
