Hey folks! It’s the first Monday of the month, which means it’s time for another **Mini Game Jam**! Last month our theme was construction jam. Ahhhhh, the art of creation! Bringing new life! Giving form to ideas! Innovating! Collaborating! A beautiful sentiment. Well, this month we are throwing all that away because our theme is **DESTRUCTION**!!! That’s right! Tear down those beautiful works of creation! Raze the ground they were built upon and salt the earth! Destroy! DESTROY! **DESTROY!!!** Some good interpretations of this theme are: - A game with a destructible environment like [that new Donkey Kong game](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donkey_Kong_Bananza) or [Fortnite I guess?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortnite) - A game where you play as a Kaiju destroying cities like [Rampage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampage_(1986_video_game)), [Godzilla Destroy all monsters melee](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godzilla:_Destroy_All_Monsters_Melee), or [Katamari Damacy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katamari_Damacy) (think about it) - Physics based games where you knock things over like [Angry Birds](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angry_Birds) or [that one game that Steven Spielberg directed for the Wii](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boom_Blox) As long as you have something that obviously relates to the theme with no extra explanation, you’re all good! ## Rules 1. Games should be built in MakeCode Arcade 2. Games should clearly adhere to the theme without the need for any extra explanation 3. Keep the games PG: no NSFW, offensive, or excessively violent content. 4. You must be at least 9 years old to participate. 5. All games must be submitted by someone who is at least 13 years old. Younger students are welcome to participate, but it must be in partnership with an adult and with parent permission. You have three weeks to enter! The jam will close at **11:59 PM PDT on Thursday, June 26th 2025**. As always, we will be playing all of the games on livestream on the last Friday of the month. Submit your games by posting them in this thread! ---
