Our theme this time around is “one room”. In other words, games must take place entirely in _one_ location and use no more than _one_ tilemap. A room can be any enclosed space, so feel free to get creative! Some possible ideas might include: - A game where the player must solve puzzles to escape a locked room - A mystery where the player interrogates suspects at the scene of a crime - A restaurant simulator where you weave through tables to serve hungry guests - A woodpecker defending the hollowed-out inside of a tree from wood-boring beetles Check out the [itch.io](https://itch.io/jam/makecode-arcade-game-jam-2) page for the full details and rules. The jam will start on **Monday, March 16th** and end on **Monday, March 23rd**. Remember, you need to **register** for the game jam and **submit** your entries on [itch.io](https://itch.io/jam/makecode-arcade-game-jam-2) to participate! This time around, we will not be combining the entries into a single game. Instead, we’ll have a round-up post on the [MakeCode blog](https://makecode.com/blog) that highlights some of our favorite submissions. Feel free to post about your games and share ideas in this forum as well! We are especially interested in hearing about any new blocks/APIs that would make the Arcade experience better. Is the room size limited to one screen (160x128px)? Can I make a large room and scroll it? ---

Hi, We´re a little makerclub in a little town in Alcantarilla Spain. Now with the confinement due to the pandemic we cannot go outside. For this reason we have encouraged our students to participate. We have a little problem. They are creating their [Itch.io](http://Itch.io) accounts to upload the games but they do not appear on the submissions page, although if they enter their profiles, they are presented. Do you know if it is taking time to update the website or if we are doing something wrong? Hello and welcome! Hm, so it seems I can see the title of the game on the game jam admin page, but I can’t click on the game itself. The problem might be that the status of the game is set to “Draft” or "Restricted–you can check by going to ‘edit’ the submitted game and scrolling to the bottom of the page: ![](https://i.imgur.com/OTJOWN9.png) Definitely let me know if that doesn’t work and we can keep troubleshooting, we’re super excited to see these games! ---
