Hey folks!
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s Game Jam. We got an amazing **106** games submitted! You can see and play all of the submissions now at [the game jam site](https://arcade.makecode.com/gamejam/prehistoric).
Over here at MakeCode HQ, we’ve been hard at work playing all of your games and picking our favorites. We’re excited to invite you all to a special livestream event where we’ll be announcing the winners of the competition!

Yeah, it’s more or less in line with our usual game jams! I was expecting there to be fewer this time around because it’s summer, but I’m happily surprised!

I really wanted to compete in this game jam, but I went on a family vacation for a month and left my computer at home, so I couldn’t code ☹
Also, this year’s theme was kinda meh, so I guess I’ll have to wait until next year for a good one.
