# Any way to keep a Variable entact after Game Reset?

This is perfect for the Settings extension, which lets you save values in permanent memory. I would look at some example projects to see how to use it. [Here’s one!](https://forum.makecode.com/t/i-need-help-with-a-save-sistem/44356/5)
