# Anyone else very excited about the possibilities with the new browser extension?

So much stuff will be possible with this, it’s crazy. I just wish there was a way to get the mouse’s position without moving it. I was working on a tank-themed game and it’s probably gonna be better with mouse controls instead of using the left and right on the d-pad to control aim (to be frank, I’ve always found that control setup a bit hard to aim with, but that’s just my opinion).

If you’re wondering where I’ve been (it’s been quite a long time since my last post), I just lost interest slightly and decided to stop posting, but now I’m back with plenty of stuff to talk about!

There is a set of X/Y variables you can use to grab them arbitrarily in TypeScript, but they don’t actually have the correct position until you move or click the cursor, so basically making your own variables and updating them inside OnMouseMove and OnMouseClick will work the exact same!
