# ByteBoi - DIY Arcade console with WiFi and 320x240 display

[ByteBoi](https://www.circuitmess.com/byteboi/) is part of DIY electronic subscription box series done by Circuitmess, a local small company.

They have an active [KS campaign](https://circuitmess-stem-box.kckb.st/ad440ac2). They already did 2 successful campaigns and in this one, at this moment, they raised over 15 times more than expected. ByteBoi is the 4th box and it’ll be released in August 2021. I’ll probably voluntarily help a little with extension(s) and tutorials so I can share what’s happening and I can forward them feedback, questions and suggestions. I hope that these days I’ll find time to visit them, try it and make some videos. 🙂

You can now order ByteBoi without subscription, but prices are little high for DIY product - about 80$ or 100 EUR

And ByteBoi isn’t Arcade compatible anymore. 😑 There was a chip shortage so they used ESP32.

Good to know! They changed their webpage, but some of the online retailers keep saying that ByteBoi is compatibile with MakeCode Arcade
