WOW. I mean, I already know PlayStation isn’t as impressive as Xbox, but you straight up don’t know what it is? Well, to sum it up, a PlayStation is like a slightly worse version of Xbox. Just to point out, you know, if there are any PlayStation users here… :smiling_imp:

YAAAYYY!!! This is awesome!

I’m looking forward to hearing how it’s working for the other Xboxers out there!

Spoiler alert: It’s not working for me, but I know I’m an edge case.

I have an Xbox One X on the Alpha Skip Ahead channel. App installs and launches fine. Works with keyboard control but controllers do not work. I disconnected the keyboard and restarted the Xbox, thinking there may be a conflict. Controller still would not operate the kiosk. Reconnecting the keyboard allowed me to control the kiosk again.

I’ll try later today with a stock Xbox One.

Devs: Let us know where you want us to file bug reports. Thanks!

@AlexK thanks for letting us know! Anyone else seeing this issue?

If you’re able to access GitHub, Kiosk bug reports can be filed in the Arcade GitHub repo. We’re also happy to file them for you if you just want to report it here!

@AlexK looking forward to hearing how testing goes on your stock Xbox One. Kiosk uses a relatively new web control called WebView2 (released for Xbox just today). It is possible the version of WebView2 available in prerelease channels differs somehow. Just something to rule out.

@AlexK when you launch into game from kiosk, are you able to play the game with a controller? Games are hosted in iframes and have their own code to read gamepad state. Although kiosk and the simulator both use the browser’s navigator.getGamepads() API, I’ve seen them behave differently.

Just tested; no, controllers do not work even after launching the game via the keyboard.

I’ve created an issue in GitHub if you want to move further conversation there.
