# CCS811 CO2 Sensor and Micro:Bit

Hello! For educational purposes I am trying to connect the CCS811 digital gas sensor to a Micro:Bit(V2).  
I understand it uses I2C protocol and I (think) I know how to connect the hardware to eachother (Using pins SDA, SCL, GND an VCC). For my (young) students I am trying to write the programme in blocks, rahter than Python. But frankly, I do not find the missing piece and I feel as if i tried everything. Is there anyone who knows how to get the Co2values , measured by the CCS811, to come up on the Micro:BIT display? Thank you!!

You will need to add some sort extension to Makecode

Maybe one of these may be usable?

Unfortunately i don’t have an CCS811 to test it with
