guys is it okay to have an unnecessarily large amount of variables for the smallest things?
im worried that if i start having too many variables i might get confused

The new belt system made me purple but I’m at green belt level so I started in oct 2024 so nearly 2 years so yeah we both progressed fast tbh then again the age range is like 8 yo

Having too many variables is usually fine when coding. Though, like you said, it can create a big mess and will be hard to remember what each variable does if you also have like:
let randomVar
let thisVar
let thisVar2
etc.
