Hi folks!  
For anyone using MakeCode for micro:bit on a Chromebook and downloading via WebUSB (pairing your browser with the micro:bit connected via USB) - there is a known issue with the latest Chrome OS update ([https://github.com/microsoft/pxt-microbit/issues/4854](https://github.com/microsoft/pxt-microbit/issues/4854)). Google is working on a fix and it should be available in the next Chrome OS update September 29th. Until then, we recommend manually downloading your MakeCode program as a .hex file and copy/pasting the file onto your micro:bit. Apologies for the inconvenience!
