I don’t think a lot of y’all understand the impact this guy has had. - Top 3 All-Time user - Almost 6,000 recieved likes (imagine how many a single reply or topic gets, scaled up to 6K!) - Has visited the forums **655** days of his life (not including streaks) - _(To my knowledge)_ has the **largest project on the forums** to his name - Won an official game jam - Won the first and only Unique-A-Thon (along side @randomuser) (basically made me) - +way more You’re a legend, it was an honor sharing this platform with you. I wish you the best outside the platform, this place can take a lot out of you mentally, and I pray that you find peace and success outside of MakeCode. Peace to another legend ☮ ---

Wow, that’s an amazing achievement! And I understand the loss and the emotions it triggers when reading he is leaving - even though I cannot relate to him and the experience you shared, as I am one of those new users. Seems it was a little too much. It’s important to keep balance in everything that we do. Investing in one thing means sacrificing another. Hope he will be fine soon and might return for one or the other side project. Also, from the perspective of a stable and healthy community, it must not rely on one, two or three main actors. Any change causes anxiety and friction in the beginning. I hoped there was a community like this when I started my journey with a 14k modem, a robotron KC85/2, Amiga 500 and later Amiga 2000… ---

Hello, I’m taking a break from Makecode I’ll still do this weeks channel 0 news but I can’t take it. I had an unapproved post and a post of mine got flagged when it was about me saying sorry. I think it would be beneficial for me if instead of getting mad about it I’d take a break. Goodbye for now. 🫡 ---
