So anyway as you might have noticed I haven’t been super active recently. I think I’ll use this opportunity to officially state that i’m taking a prolonged break from the forums. Yeah, I know, all the big users leaving blah blah this is the end yadda yadda yadda but it’s really not that deep. The forum is booming with games and interesting projects, discussions and ideas. My leave has nothing to do with “the forum dying” or any other nonsensical narrative. The forum is probably more active now than ever, and I love to see it. However, I’ve decided to step away, not just from the forum but internet (social media, games, whatever) for the most part recently. I just feel much better hanging out with friends and doing productive stuff as opposed to sitting on my computer all day. This is not permanent, I may come back when I actually finish a big project one day, but if I do come back know that I’ll be much lessa active. So, for the time being, I guess that’s it guys. I still love you all, and uh, until next time, I guess? ---

Just to one-up this, because I feel like I kind of underdelivered on that signoff, I can’t actually express how thankful I am to have been a part of this forum. I’ve seen so many incredible coders, artists, writers, and other users come and go and leave their legacy here, it’s amazing. This may be a small niche community, hidden in the depths of the internet, for very few people to see, but that’s what makes it so magical. MakeCode has held a very important role in my life for the past few years, and I’d even go as far as to say that it has in part defined me as a person. My life would not be the same now if I had never made an account here and started posting here 4 years ago. If I went and named every user that has made an impact on me, whether it be by collaboration, communication or any other way this post would span for many pages. That’s why I’ll instead give a shoutout to everyone. Because everyone really made this community what it is. If anyone deserves a specific shoutout, it’s the moderators for keeping this place running and engaging with the community for so many years. You guys are real champs There, now I think that does it justice.
