# Compilation Error - 'enums.d.ts' not found

My extension [pxt-SL25](https://github.com/xinabox/pxt-SL25) is failing to compile. It compiled before a recent makecode update. The build says “error: ?(1,1): error TS6053: File ‘pxt\_modules/SL25/enums.d.ts’ not found.”

I’ve added the enum.d.ts file by going to _explorer\>add a new file_ but that did not get rid of the error.

How do I fix the error?

I think empty files sometimes confuse the TypeScript compiler. Add a comment to that file.

Also, C++ development is _not_ supported in the webapp. You might be running into an issue where you need to use our pxt CLI instead.
