@Bifrosty

could you tell me how long it takes to beat conquest of dust (making a website)
split it into 3 categories each if possible

Main Story
Main + Extra
Completionist

Sure! (I love explaining my game)

Conquest of Duat contains a total of 8 bosses, only two of which are required for completing the game. Here is the four types of playthroughs:

Main

Explorer Mode (Recommended for most playthroughs) limits the challenging content a player will encounter. Completion of The Desert, The Jungle Beneath and The Thunderstruck Mountains is the minimum required to beat the game. Bosses Khonsu and the Keystone Priest must be defeated to progress.

This should take ~35 minutes for a first time player but could definitely be Speedran in less than half that time.

Main + Extra

I would consider this category to be beating Anubis in explorer mode. To do this, find the 5 hidden usabti pieces. This requires beating an additional four bosses (Eye of Ra, Keystone Golem, The Bandit Lord, and The Familiar Knight) as well as completing the Spelunker’s quest. Then enter the temple and have an epic showdown with the final boss (Anubis) in Duat.

This extends the game by a significant margin: <1 Hour

Completionist

This category can only be completed in the mercenary and mortal difficulties, not explorer. Complete everything previously mentioned plus the Keystone’s Dominion questline. Find the key hidden within The Jungle Beneath. This key unlocks the Keystone Dungeon, here you will fight the most difficult boss in the game, Seth. I suppose a completionist playthrough should also involve unlocking all three vaults in Snake Eye’s Casino, so do that too.

Your time will vary based on your innate skill level, I’d guess about north of an hour.

Absolute Sweat

There is 10 relics, 6 material weapons, and 7 spells in the mercenary and mortal modes. It would be kinda redundant to obtain and use all of them. Nonetheless, they can all be obtained within the same run. If you got everything and fulfilled the regular completionist category in the permadeath mortal difficulty… you win.

This would take several attempts. So total time would be like… a lot. (I only did this once)

(Completion times estimated for a first attempt of each respective category)

:scream: This game is awesome! Big supporter of your games, they are a major inspiration to me!!

Also, you don’t need to do this:

There is a button that updates the existing sharelinks with the one created, when you press ‘Share’

I don’t use that option because the best way to save your code without github (blocked at my school) is making non-updatable links. This also lets me go back to previous versions very easily. I have 80 non-updatable links for this game lol.

what I would do is whenever you make a new version, you can share that project, copy the link, then go to a new project (that you would use the update share link), and import the newest version, and update it.

I post every version of my games in a private discord server. Which is probably not a good way to do that, but at least I can edit them from anywhere and they will never be lost.

Impressive! Do you fight Anubis in this speedrun? Or do you just complete the base game?
