Okay so, I’ve seen on some of the videos from youtube certain people have different looking controllers [the thing with the d-pad and buttons, dunno what to call it], is it possible for me to get that or no

If you’re talking about MakeCode Arcade hardware, you can buy consoles from a wide range of boards, from the Meowbit to the Raspberry Pi; there are loads to choose from.

You can use controllers with the browser simulator as well. I know xbox controllers work, I think that some people have also [tried the Nintendo Switch Pro and PS4 controllers](https://forum.makecode.com/t/what-are-the-player-3-and-player-4-controls/2896/17).
