# Controller bug

does anyone has experience that control is not smooth? my problem is that when i try to move my sprite it become “laggy” and from what i saw that only my up, a,b, button is working perfectly fine meanwhile my side and down control is registered as repeated instead of holding. anyone know how to fix this? i use makecode arcade in offline and this problem also happen in web browser. only simple coding btw heres the link to the project [https://makecode.com/\_4ka0Tv54g6Yh](https://makecode.com/_4ka0Tv54g6Yh)

my spec:  
CPU: ryzen 5600  
GPU: rtx 5060  
RAM: 16gb  
monitor: 240hz

Makecode Arcade can be very slow offline, is there a way you can run it online?

yea i run it online in browser and in app same thing still happen the control is buggy

yea of course i have and still same. i go through the documentation once for the controller part and test the js code it work but idk how do i use that in my makecode
