I’m trying flicker color mixing again. I wanted to ask if everyone can see the colors mixing properly on your computers.

I think I can, though if it gets laggy you wont be able to. If your wondering, a (maybe) better way is to have each pixel a 3x3 tile, then put some colors in each tile so that they blend into something else! If your wondering I have done this [before](https://forum.makecode.com/t/1-million-colors-without-palette-change-technically/41304)

That Northern lights image you did looked amazing! this way seems to work well with large pieces of art, unlike my method that gets les convincing the bigger an area of the same color it renders. small pixel details staying the same color seems to work fine enough but yours definitely works for a larger picture.

Is 3x3 the smallest your rendering gets, or is there another reason for that size?

And how can I use that method?

I chose 3x3 because it allows 1,307,504 colors while staying small (e.g. 10x10 might start looking terrible, and besides, the biggest screen possible in makecode is 2000x2000). A 1x1 is 16 colors (obviously), and a 2x2 is only 3,876. It also makes sense to have a square.

For small images I end up scaling up the area for each pixel, I did that for my madeline thing

speaking of your Madeline, how can I make images like that with 3x3 tiles?

if you mean export them into something, I could do that. I have a c++ github repo for the converting but I could do it myself if it doesn’t work or anything
