it’s a joke bruh not that deep. it might have offended some people in this post and I’m sorry but this just a refence to what pixeldoodle did to Richard. I cut out the people from the top to emphasize the joke. what I put up on topics I make I add all the 1uping, confusing, and joking as a persona, I did this because it might seem pretty entertaining to read.

fine the joke isn’t funny and I know it’s not always gonna be funny. I would say a 30% it’s not gonna be funny and if you really don’t like these “competitions” either don’t click on it or just provide criticism to it.

…and here I am. Let’s try to keep the conversation positive everybody and avoid calling anybody out.
I’m personally getting a little fed up with these leaderboard threads (not just this one); they are technically violating the off-topic rule of this forum and I think they are very prone to unhealthy conversation/behaviors. If people can’t be civil, they’re going to be banned altogether.

Even the best comedians fail some times with their jokes, which either fall flat to the ground or go too far etc. 😉
Keep on trying to spread fun and laughs, IMO, @goldtopaz! The alternative is much worse…
I just failed miserably trying to be funny with a tongue-in-cheek response/follow-up to @DangerNoodle’s [post in the Chat area](https://forum.makecode.com/t/chatting-area-have-fun/8740/221), the same @PixelDoodle (in my view funny)@richard post and all these competitions, as @personalnote points out, which probably went too far and did not fly with the moderators… 😱
I guess I myself will keep it safe and unfunny going forward, while I miss the golden years of irony during the 90’s where the most unfunny guy in the room did not always set the rules for the jokes. But I hope to read more fun stuff here; the [meme thread](https://forum.makecode.com/t/makecode-memes/21457) has a lot of great stuff!

Ok. So I have to admit here, I guess I’m at fault for starting _ **SOME** _ of this whole argument (With my Post about me getting close to beating @richard) but @personalnote & @goldtopaz, Come on! Keep it civil! I meant for that topic to be a quick little joke and I didn’t expect it to pick up THAT MUCH TRAFFIC.

Ah man, I mean I guess I can take it as a joke, but posting this for the god knows which time, the joke really loses the charm. I guess it just becomes very hard to tell what’s satire and what’s not. I say we just stop with threads like this, or at least keep them humble/civil. It’s one thing to celebrate reaching a certain milestone, and a whole other to boast about it constantly…
