# Custom Crafting Recipes

I wanted to ask if there is a way to make custom crafting recipes!? Like combine bed and a rock = Bedrock! Thanks

In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, it’s possible to create customizations through “add-ons”.

The process is a bit of a pain in the butt, and I don’t super love Microsoft’s tutorials. My students have been able to create some pretty nifty add-ons with custom items, blocks, recipes, and entities in Minecraft Education Edition.
