# Deleted variable bug

I think this would be considered a editor bug, because when you select one of the pull down select a variable buttons, the attached blocks are stuck to your cursor.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Drag out `for element value of list` block
2. Delete variable `list`
3. Click on `list` in the `for element value of list` block. The blocks attached will now get stuck to your cursor. Reload usually fixes it.

I believe this one’s fixed in /beta ~

But yes, when a block sticks to the cursor that typically indicates an unhandled exception in blockly, and reloading typically fixes it.
