Hey guys! Some of you may have seen my other post about “A sick mod of Jumpy Platformer” And I’ve decided that maybe I should expand on this idea. I am gonna try to make a full game out of Jumpy Platformer, including lore, bosses, NPCS, and maybe 2 player, if I can figure out how that works. I have been planning this for a while, and here is the basic plot of it: One day this construction worker guy gets falls of his little iron bar he’s eating lunch on and thinks its the end but then a portal pops out of nowhere and catches him, and now he’s in some new blob dimension. Over time, thanks to the help of some friendly blobs, he figures out that the main badguy, Which I’m gonna call “Zoomer” Is a evil overlord trying to take over the blob world. Oh, and he’s insane. His mindless followers, the Bumpers and the fliers, serve him through and through. halfway through the first cave area, which is where the remaining good blobs hid, is now being invaded. And he finds this really old blob called the mystic, and he tells him the lore. So basically, long ago this race of achient blobs called the mystics, ruled all of blob world, and they where the only blobs. But, over time, the mystics started to die out, so with magic, they tried to create more of themselves, but ended up making the friendly blobs, which are the NPCS in the game. The mystics tried again, but with more stress and hatred this time, and made the fliers and the bumpers. Then, the few remaining mystics tried to make one mystic with their magic, but created Zoomer, the insane overlord. Then, Zoomer used his evil magic to control the bumpers and fliers, and absorbed the remaining mystics, sparing only one, (the one who tells you all of this), and it escapes with the nice blobs, and they runaway to the caves (the starting area) and stayed there for a while. But in the prophecy, it says that a human will come and save them all, and the contruction worker guy, is that human. Then, you leave the caves, go do some stuff, maybe fight a boss or 2 along the way, and then beat zoomer. But as your about to beat him, he explains that he opened the portal, because he wanted to take over other worlds, but he opened it in the wrong place, so he brought you in, and basically brought his own doom to him. Then you beat him, go back to the human world, and that’s it. I’ll keep updating on this. that’s all for now.
