# Extension idea: Keyboard

I know there’s already a keyboard extension, I just would like to see an actual extension that allows other key letters to be used just like up down left and right, like maybe if I wanted to use F as an attack button, I could do that.

@eanders tried, but it is currently impossible because of how makecode works.

Unfortunately, for that to be possible the entire input system would have to be reworked. Many people thought of this but we are still waiting, maybe it will be possible in a sooner update
