Hi everyone!
I am teaching grade 4 and 5 digital media/computer science, and I am wanting to use MakeCode arcade to have my students design a game. Does anyone have any resources (e.g., checklists, rubrics, assignment outlines) for this kind of project? Thanks so much in advance!

Maybe if you can tell us what kind of games you want your students to create, maybe someone can make one based off of that.

I would @msschultz to do kinda game jam for your class (if you don’t know what a game jam is just give them a 4-5 topic to vote from) once they have a topic give them a dead line to finish. idk if this helps but good luck!

Yes just do a mini game jam make a theme and get them to try and create their own games.

Of course! And if you’d like for your students to start with something a little more simple, don’t forget to look to the side of the skillmaps (when nothing is clicked) to see the Learning Outcomes pages.
