# Game Viewable and playable in browser but code disappears when viewing or editing game

HELP! student made this game. [https://arcade.makecode.com/S72987-27011-21483-96892](https://arcade.makecode.com/S72987-27011-21483-96892) it plays in the browser. BUT when i go to look at code, half of the code is gone and game does not run. We have tried looking at old versions on his computer but they all go back to this odd version,. Ive tried opening it in a incognito browser and the issue persists. clicking on “evaulate” worked once and i dowloaded a json while seeing the correct code. but when going back to evaluate it goes back to the odd version. what can we do?

ah, this is a bad bug! i’m going to hotfix this right now, but as a temporary workaround you can view the link here:

this bug has been fixed. that link should now open fine in the live makecode site (you might need to refresh to get the update)
