# Grappling Hook Demo

I’ve made basic grappling hook mechanics. For drawing a line from your character to the hook (in the background) and I used some basic math to figure out how to place the line based on the camera’s position.

Use left and right arrows to move and A to control the grappling hook.

**Bold of you to think I wouldn’t respond.**

Anyway @wooperthewhopper there is an updated version of this [here](https://forum.makecode.com/t/grappling-hook-playground/10592) and that version lets you release the grappling hook to get some insane air (as well as giving you a small hop to get on ledges), though there’s still no actual jump (because you’re meant to use the grappling hook!)
