Apologies, I thought the thread had gotten moved over to the github issue; as far as I’m aware that issue is consistent across bedrock edition at the moment and the fixes mentioned in [https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7915](https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7915) and further investigation listed on the issue being more widespread is in [https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-113355](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-113355) . It is unlikely that buying a new device will have any effect here, sorry ☹ ---

Unfortunately I don’t have anything I can share at this time, the best place to get that info would be asking on the minecraft ticket [https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-113355](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-113355) or checking with Micah from the minecraft team [https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7738#issuecomment-788394925](https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7738#issuecomment-788394925) as the release ---
