# How do I add deaths by touching something?

Hey, I’m trying to make my character die in my test for how things work and I try to die from the death/placeholder on my tile map but I won’t die how do I die from that?

@mcodez I think you want the “on sprite of kind overlaps tile at location” block in the scene category:
