# How do you make a poll on the Forum?

I’ve seen other people use polls but I don’t know how to make one

when sending a reply go to the “gear” or whatever it’s called and press the build poll thing.  
here’s an image:

when you are writing a post there is a little ‘gear’ icon, you can click that and then click poll!  
You can also use this code: (remove any dashes, the “-” things)

[poll type=regular results=always public=true chartType=bar]  
#-title  
\*-option1  
\*-option2  
\*-option3  
–[/poll]

click that gear icon and build a poll!

click the settings thing and then click insert poll

click on the

in the option bar in the editor

then just click on “build a poll”
