# How to make background scroll switch backgrounds cleanly?

At one point in my game (at 100 score). I want to switch to a different background while using the background scroll, but it is very abrupt. Is there any way to queue a background so it will come through the next time the background scroll loops?

Looking at the blocks from the extension, I don’t think that’s possible. But maybe some other advanced code could do the job! Otherwise great game you made, I love the graphics and gameplay, super fun!

Do you know what other code I could do? I tried using this code, which works, but it changes the background too soon. I want to make this happen later, but if I change the starting background offset, the “if level = 2” block, or the block that changes the level, it stops working.

You could just detect when the score reaches a certain point or higher.
