# How to Make good Game music?

I always try adding music to my game. And as some people might know, itโs abysmal. So, I wanted to make good music for my game. I know that there are people here that are really good at making songs such as InvalidProject or UnsignedArduino so I wanted to know if there are any tips for doing this (especially background music) ๐

I make music on Fl studio mobile and from that experience it taught me to make music on basically any other program. but mainly people like a smooth bass and a catchy melody. this applies to both calmer areas and final bosses. I recommend 180 bpm for faster tracks and 140 bpm for slower tracks. for inspiration, think of a song you like then copy the melody and rearrange some notes. also be sure to include motifs and leitmotifs.
