Video: One way to interest kids (10 yr olds) , in electronics and how smart devices will communicate in their future world: MakeCode Arcade hardware as a controller of wheeled bot car with “story” and on-screen sprites. Code is in the description for both pieces of hardware but will not play well in simulator due to SD Wireless extension breaking that system.

Video, our MakeCode Mondays at the coffee shop/ library. Arcade Meowbit as an “Arduino type” micro controller ; learning analog and digital I/O plus writing an Arcade game of Princess chase which we can add SD Wireless to control sprites on 2 consoles. We watch Starships being built, live, while we work: We have not added SD W code as yet because it stops the simulator when added.
