I need help. I’ve been working on a project for about 7 months or so, and as of today, all the sprite assets were wiped. But not _just_ the assets, all of the functions in the code were also removed. Everything is gone. I’m hoping someone such as @eanders could help me understand or possibly fix/fix the issue. I need to know if there is a way I can bring my progress back. If sharing the project is necessary, I will. Please help, I really need it right now. ---

Oh, I am so sorry that just recently happened to @BotWarrior and he lost 2 of his best projects did you back them up every day? that is what I do I click the download button and then I get a copy I can restore if anything bad happens. Also is that your game jam game? ---

I expect some incidents like these to have happened before, all I can say is to try to use the version history… if it exists. ---

Sorry; but the project was wiped quite oddly, and so far the only clear way to get help is from mod attention, since the version history goes far back. As for @Fixitude it’s happened to me a bunch of times, however, this one was much more grand and serious, so I’m choosing to ask for help to get it back; no, it’s not my UAT2 game. ---

Hi, @InvalidProject ! Some generic questions: - Are you able to download your project as a PNG, or does that generate an error? - Does sharing still work for you, or does that generate an error? - Are you using the beta version? - Did something happen before you lost your work? - Do you have any backups that still work? No guarantees that I can help you this weekend, but I will try. The devs are way better at this than I am! 😀 ---

uh oh Usually when this happens there’s not really a way to…uh…get it back If someone can finally figure out what to do when this happens I would get back a ton of projects. But if theres no way to get it back…(sigh of frustration) I don’t say this offen but I dunno if there is a way to help… All I can really say, is good luck. ---

Some generic answers: - I can download the game into a PNG file with no issues! - The game is really large, so sharing through links doesn’t work. - Unless there was a major editor update within the last week, no! - What happened was I had imported an extension, and it bugged everything! - I have a backup, but it’s so horribly far back, I’d lose essentially all of my code. Hoping this helps! ---

This happened to me multiple times. It’s just so annoying, especially with all the buggy extensions. Keep going InvalidProject, your game is looking good! ---
