# I need help with mechanics

I implemented the jumping and the sword. Also, the sword is a sprite now, which could help if enemies are to be added (as in, overlap blocks), but there is a bug tht I found, I nicknamed it “Sword in the Stone” bug, where the sword softlocks itself when used against a wall. I have no clue whatsoever how this happens, nor how to fix it sorry! I tried to get the sword to just clip through the tiles, but that doesn’t work either! I hope you find the answer to this, and if there’s anything I can help with, just let me know! I hope this helped!
