# I tired doing a JavaScript game

i tried to make a collect game where you had to get 100 fruits and if 1 fall, then game over. it took me about 2 hours so here you go!

Java and JavaScript are completely different, so make sure you specify JavaScript when researching. Actually, Makecode is technically “TypeScript”, so actually use that instead!

Really? I didn’t know that, I thought that Java was just short for JavaScript. Also how do you get into typescript? I’ve seen people talk about it but haven’t actually seen it before

Yup! They are basically the same thing though. It’s technically “Static Typescript” whatever that means. You can read about it here:
