Hey everyone. So long story short…I’ve kinda been falling behind in school. (mainly due to it being hard to pay attention and constant daydreaming) So I’m not going to be posting or making games as much as normal to focus on raising my grades. Long live the puppet! Btw from a guy who has been succeeding in school while often visiting this forum. I recommend doing some small stuff (updates) with Makecode each school day; that way, you can catch up with school and get some stuff done with Makecode. ---

Ah, kind of the same here! I’m mostly doing good in school but have a C in my ELA class right now so I can’t really work on Coneguy 64 and Coneguy’s model…hope your grades get better though! School is tough lol- ---

Oof, that sucks! Definitely a good priority, especially in your grade. The only way I keep from daydreaming is listening to the most boring music ever (in my case, that’s edm and classical, although it will be different for everyone) then I have no choice but to read XD Perhaps over a break you can get a real start again! ---

Uh, ok so I just looked it up and _ahem_ “Does daydreaming have good side effects?” according to 11 sources “Daydreaming has been proven to solve non-creative tasks. This works by creating new thoughts and pathways in your brain.” So, your daydreaming might help solve tasks that may seem boring at times. Also, it might help when you have to sit at a long place for a long time by possibly imagining it your own way! One more thing too, if you need to take notes, it has scientifically shown that it’s better taking them in your own words. Hope this helps though. ---

I feel this on a spiritual level man. (That’s why I’m not so active at this point) I used to literally read every post on the forum during the summer, but now it’s like there’s hundreds of posts I just didn’t have the time to read. On another note though, I’m actually getting my stuff together so I hope I’ll cook something up this weekend. So yes, look forward to some cool stuff after the weekend. Sorry if im a little late to this or my spelling is off, I just woke up but @PixelDoodle listen to me on this, if you’re feeling that it’s hard to focus in school, remember that there’s always a end to math, always a end to ELA, always a end to english, and everything else. Trust me im also going through this phase we’re in the same boat here, but remember that whenever you come to check the forum, I have kind of learned, to say the least, and I say this: This forum is like a family. And we have all grown together, so you see, during a long day of school you should know that you are loved by this community and your family, ok? It’s like this, every forum member grew up because of a different one, they stayed here because of a different one, heck I don’t even know where I would be without the AMAZING pixel art specialist @Luke ! I don’t know where ALL OF US would be with the positive motivation of @randomuser ! And where would we be without our mods? @richard ? @jwunderl ? and the rest! We can’t forget about @Sarge ! who checks on the forum to make sure it’s still running! And everyone else! They have kept this forum from dying out, including you! So, if you need a break, take it!
