# iPad problem(s)

I would love to use MakeCode Arcade in my classes, but my school is using iPads.  
So I started evaluating iPad usage and ran into a problem. When I want to enter a number in a „set velocity“ block the keyboard does not show up. Only a dialer, but unfortunately that doesnˋt work. I can move the slider but the chosen number does not get published to the value field. I hope there is a fix or workaround for that? Arcade would be incredible nice to teach…

Oh no! iPad is definitely one of our supported scenarios, it sounds like you’ve found some bugs with our blocks, haha. I’ve filed this on Github: [https://github.com/microsoft/pxt-arcade/issues/4403](https://github.com/microsoft/pxt-arcade/issues/4403) and we will look into getting it fixed ASAP!

Haha, okay. Looking forward to see this fixed.

BTW, a workaround is to override the slider value with an integer pulled in from the block area.

This should be fixed! Please let us know if you are still encountering issues (on iPad or otherwise)!
