# Is it possible to get a deleted game back without the link?

Someone please help I accidentally deleted a project I’ve been working on for a couple months and I didn’t make a single link of the game within that time can anyone help?

As the delete button states, there are no ways to restore a project unless you had published a version of your game to Github.

Sorry but unless you have a backup file saved to your computer or USB drive.  
For future times save a few copies to your computer.

If you worked on it on multiple devices, you could try turning off the WiFi and opening Makecode (Makecode works without WiFi! I was very surprised). The other device might have a locally saved version. MIGHT!!! I really hope this works, but I doubt it, sorry.

Welcome to the forums @Felixx! Sadly, I did not find a way to get it back… I actually started over entirely a couple months ago
