I’ve been trying to make a rhythm game and for the chart design I’ve been testing how the song block works exactly.

The issue is that I can’t seen to figure out if it’s actually synced to anything I can actually read the song time progression from.

If there is something like that, it would make syncing it to the chart way easier. If not, I might need to invent a complicated system, which could possibly make making songs for the game way more difficult than it should be

Is there really no sync to anything on the song block? I really don’t want to recreate the song block just to properly sync a chart

There is an extension by Richard that might work here. `Riknoll/arcade-dj` it has an “on note start in track” block. You might have to copy your music into its “track” blocks, which would probably be annoying, but this would be a way that might be as good as copying the native music code and making your own version…

that could be extremely useful. I’ve not made any music yet because of this now (probably) resolved issue so I don’t have to copy anything. Might try it tomorrow
