# Is there a way to make music quieter?

i want to play background music in my game, but its way too loud. i can’t hear anything else in the game and i want a way to raise and lower the volume of songs. can someone help me with this problem? regardless, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this topic.

the “set volume” block doesnt effect sound effects. you can use it (i havent been using makecode arcade for a long time so i might be wrong and the music may not be affected too.) .
