# Issue with my codes ¨ chance ¨ of something happening

I was hoping someone knew how to make it so that when you get the egg as the player, it disables inputs for a specific time, and then lets you move when the egg ¨hatches¨ after a specific amount of time. can someone help?

You can use the pause. block, which pauses the whole game. After the pause block, use “set mySprite image to img” and replace img with your character image.

no instead add an animation of the egg cracking and then it will open
