# Issues with chromebook download

i can download from makecode, but can’t copy the file over to the brick. i get this error message "copy operation failed. the file could not be modified.

I was not able to resolve it I switched to EV3 classroom on windows 10, which is a much better system with basically the same programming language.

Thanks for your response. We have Chromebooks and the EV3 Classroom app is not loading on them. I am back to the old EV3 programming app.

ev3 classroom only works on windows 10 machines. hopefully they will change that soon.
