I have a suggestion; use a sprite and have Reflect place it on a certain tile then have him teleport to that sprite. I can make an example or add it into the game if you’re interested.

Thank you for your suggestions! (i made it so you cant delete signs in the lore now because of reflects refusal to do so due to shine making them)
Jt reflect is able to place down their block anywhere to make certain jumps possible, and to open up platforming abilitys, maybe in the future the block will be covered by an animation but currently that doesnt seem likely to happen.

Major update, Water tempest is almost fully decorated and finished, however @EugeneRedwing8 during testing i realized that sometimes the songs overlap (usually circuit city 1 and 2 ost suburb and chaos) and i cant find out why. also tell me how you feel about the backround for it!
Changes for circuit city levels: cc1 has a placeholder backround because i am remaking the backround, also next update i plan to reopen additions to the game as npcs! the D14NA and CD from the old game is being scrapped and replaced due too friend group drama and cd leaving. and will be replaced in the future. so drop your characters and text for them! and i might add them (dont worry E8 you will be the first npc added and your coming next update)

Ok, I found the issue: you’re putting multiple “Play song” blocks inside of a single if loop, like this:


Each “play song” block needs its own if loop, or it will continue to play after the swapsong function is called. That should fix it.

@WoofWoof if you could please help me (only pinging cus stg ive seen you talk about this before but idk for sure) o you know how to add saving? i specifically want it to save after the entire starting portion is finished (aka after tutorial and in circuit city 1) but i cant find out how to do it.

bored so i made a small little deltarune inspired battle sim

@CopySprite 's character is your enemy
you play as a place holder sprite
also the enemy can attack multiple times

Sorry I totally forgot about this! The basic idea would be to have a setting that only gets created at the end of the whole beginning bit, and then at the start of the game you check if that setting exists or is equal to a specific value and if the setting does exist you just skip the whole beginning bit. I can make an example if needed, but I’m a bit overworked right now so I’m not gonna edit your project or anything.

makecode really needs to fix lag because it took 3 minutes for it to make a link because the entire engine is so laggy, always freezing every other second (rant mb)

If you have a bunch of old projects that you’re never gonna finish, I’d go through all of them and delete any you’re never going to touch.

@ThatPrismaticEntity are you interested in adding skull valley still? the new game requires longer levels so it has to be atleast 150 x. and a spawn point\
