Hi there - I have a student who said that got an email that let him know his account was closed, and lost all his work. What is the reason this happened? And is there any way to recover his work? Thank you ---

Hi, we’re not sure where that sort of email could have come from – we’re currently testing some [cloud save](https://forum.makecode.com/t/announcing-sign-in-and-save-to-cloud/6640) capabilities as an experiment in arcade, but usage of that is very limited / there wouldn’t be an email like that coming from there. The other possibility would be if they were referring to a forum account that was closed due to violating the [code of conduct](https://forum.makecode.com/t/makecode-forum-code-of-conduct/1729), but that’s fairly rare as well.
