I carefully scout the internet and analyze popular trends, looking for the perfect templates to make memes out of. I dissect counter-culture to add a dash of contrarianism to my memes, just enought to make them spark interest in users that view them. I add a minor amount of self-deprecation to make the meme more relatable, hitting close to home in a way, and I make the meme target a mutual enemy, like an annoying behaviour in order to create a sense of unity to lead people into liking my memes by a means of relatablity and a feeling of connection… JK it’s just Photoshop + imagination → meme ---
