Is the MakeCode Save The Forest Hour of Code 2021 an official event, or is the video something to inspire students? I saw the youtube video, but I can’t find any more information on it. ---

Hour of Code is a worldwide event, typically held during the first week in December. The MakeCode team is working on their 2021 event. That video was really cool, wasn’t it! It was nice to see an official video from Microsoft about the event. If you go to makecode 2021 you can find it and its basically another step by step tutorial ---

Yes, we will be releasing an “Hour of Code” activity! You can see all the info here: [https://aka.ms/arcadeHOC2021](https://aka.ms/arcadeHOC2021), we’ll be doing a more official announcement next week I believe, but the page and educator documentation are already up! Definitely let us know if you have any questions or need anything else as an educator, we’d love to hear feedback. ---
