# MakeCode switches to Chinese Blocks

This isn’t about Maker but I did not see a category for MakeCode per se. It is a new experience for me although I’m sure the developers will have an explanation for it. After installing M-bit extension to run a Yahboom 2 wheeled robot car with Micro:bit and MakeCode I can select car forward and back “at speed” blocks. If I click “Save” then a new window pops up and the blocks or JavaScript become Chinese. Now, often, many errors are generated but this does not seem to prevent download.
